After providing feedback on personal statements, essays, and admissions strategies for over ten years, I've realized helping others find their voice and craft their stories is a true joy for me.

I started Rise Up Admissions because I believe everyone should have access to high-quality and professional feedback on their college and graduate school applications and personal statements for a reasonable price. I firmly believe higher education should not be limited to those who can pay their way in, and I'm especially passionate about helping people from underserved communities "rise up" and reach their educational dreams.
Although I specialize in undergraduate college and law school admissions, I’ve successfully provided personal statement review services and admissions consulting across a wide variety of disciplines including medical school, nursing school, and computer science, as well as assisting with scholarship and grant applications. If it involves words on a page, I can help!

A little about me, I'm a practicing attorney in Los Angeles by day and an aspiring fiction writer by night (well, at least I was before I had two kids). I love to read, dance, craft, and travel to new places.
Fun fact: My birthday is Nov. 30th, the last day to submit UC Applications!

Get Me Started ($50) – I will review one personal statement and provide in-text revisions and overall strategy for improvement.
Let’s Fine-Tune ($100) – I will review one personal statement, provide in-text revisions and overall strategy for improvement on initial draft and one re-draft.
Perfect Your Prose ($300) – Includes One Hour Brainstorming Call, review of up to three personal statements, feedback on initial draft and two revisions. This package also includes one (1) One Hour zoom call to discuss the essays that can be used at any time during the process.

45 minute Strategy calls ($50)
Brainstorming Call – Unsure about what to write in your personal statements? In this one-hour session, I’ll work with you to identify the strongest story you can tell in your essay. Feel free to bring up to three prompts to the session. I’ll also provide you with brainstorming prompts and tried and tested ideas before our call to get your wheels turning. This brainstorming call will take place over Zoom.

College Strategy Call – This call is meant to help you navigate the college application process. Whether it is reviewing or helping you create the perfect college application list; understand the dates and deadlines for various schools, or provide you with guidance on how to prepare for the application process if you still have time to apply.
Law School Strategy Call – On this call, I will give you a rundown on the law school application process and my top tips and tricks to make sure you are as successful as can be. I’ll take a look at your total application and career goals and make a personalized law school recommendation list with safety and reach schools.

Complete Support & Success Package ($1,000)
With the Complete Support & Success Package, you will get a One Hour Brainstorming Call, an Initial Draft review of as many personal statements and college essay questions as you need for up to ten schools, unlimited reviews of future drafts for up to ten colleges, a One Hour College List Strategy Call, and unlimited email and text support throughout your college application process. I will also help you track all of your applications and the various requirements for each school. With this package, I’ll be with you every step of the way!
